Nel mese di maggio, l'azienda Microsoft ha rimosso<\/a><\/noindex> da Windows 10 la tecnologia che obbligava l'utente a creare nuove password dopo un certo periodo. Finalmente \u00e8 finita! A Redmond hanno modificato<\/a><\/noindex> i requisiti ufficiali di sicurezza in risposta alle prove che tale approccio non migliora, ma anzi compromette la sicurezza. <\/p>\n

In Windows 10 (1903) e nella versione server della «decima», ora \u00e8 possibile impostare una sola password e non contare i giorni fino alla sua sostituzione. Come riportato da TechCrunch, il cambiamento regolare delle password \u00e8 controproducente. Anche il gigante del software conferma questo.<\/p>\n

Il punto \u00e8 che se la password viene rubata, questo sistema non consente di cambiarla immediatamente \u2014 bisogna aspettare la scadenza. Se invece non \u00e8 stata rubata, non c'\u00e8 bisogno di cambiarla. Come alternativa, vengono proposte l'autenticazione multifattoriale, il monitoraggio degli attacchi alle risorse interne e la biometria. Il cambiamento regolare delle password \u00e8 stato semplicemente definito un metodo di protezione obsoleto e non pertinente. Si consiglia inoltre di utilizzare gestori di password, come LastPass o 1Password, e la trasmissione di codici tramite SMS.<\/p>\n

In Microsoft sottolineano che non esiste una protezione ideale (a meno che il PC non sia spento, scollegato e in una cassaforte), tuttavia, \u00e8 facile garantire un livello di protezione sufficiente. \u00c8 sufficiente seguire semplici regole.<\/p>\n
