Il browser si concentra sulla protezione dell'anonimato, della sicurezza e della privacy, reindirizzando tutto il traffico esclusivamente attraverso la rete Tor. Non \u00e8 possibile accedere direttamente tramite la connessione di rete corrente del sistema, impedendo cos\u00ec di rintracciare l'IP reale dell'utente (in caso di hack del browser, gli aggressori potrebbero accedere ai parametri di rete del sistema, quindi per bloccare completamente le possibili perdite si consiglia di utilizzare prodotti come Whonix<\/a><\/noindex>).
