Alexander Larsson, sviluppatore di Flatpak e attivo partecipante al progetto GNOME, ha presentato<\/a><\/noindex> nuovo progetto Gthree<\/a><\/noindex>, per il quale \u00e8 stato preparato il porting della libreria 3D three.js<\/a><\/noindex> per GObject e GTK. L'API Gthree \u00e8 praticamente identica a three.js, compreso il caricatore glTF<\/a><\/noindex> (GL Transmission Format)
\n e la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare materiali basati su PBR (Rendering Basato sulla Fisica). Per il rendering \u00e8 supportato solo OpenGL. Nella pratica, Gthree pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato per aggiungere effetti 3D nelle applicazioni GNOME.<\/p>\n
