\nI piani per il rilascio del protocollo Matrix 1.0 sono stati annunciati a Bruxelles nel febbraio 2019 durante la pi\u00f9 grande conferenza Open Source, FOSDEM 2019, nell'ambito del lavoro di implementazione delle tecnologie Matrix.org Foundation per garantire l'infrastruttura di comunicazione del governo francese.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 interessante notare che due mesi fa il server matrix.org \u00e8 stato vittima di un attacco hacker, il che ha portato alla necessit\u00e0 di ricreare il database del server matrix.org (con la perdita della cronologia delle chat criptate memorizzata sui server) \u2014 e di rilasciare nuovamente l'app Riot per Android \u2014 a causa della fuga di chiavi e password. Gli hacker hanno lasciato raccomandazioni per migliorare i processi aziendali e la sicurezza dei server (relative a vulnerabilit\u00e0 in Jenkins, una piattaforma di automazione per lo sviluppo e il testing del software). I server Matrix \"domestici\" non hanno subito danni, ad eccezione della temporanea indisponibilit\u00e0 degli \"adesivi\" per i messaggi degli utenti e di altri servizi secondari.<\/p>\n

Il client pi\u00f9 popolare, Riot.im (versione attuale 1.2.1) \u2014 disponibile sia come implementazione desktop che su gran parte delle piattaforme mobili \u2014 ha raggiunto livelli di comodit\u00e0 e affidabilit\u00e0 paragonabili a quelli di client simili per Slack e Telegram.<\/p>\n
