Nell'ultima occasione abbiamo <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/habr.com\/ru\/company\/it-grad\/blog\/455868\/\">parlavano<\/a><\/noindex> parlato dei materiali che potrebbero sostituire il silicio e <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/habr.com\/ru\/company\/it-grad\/blog\/456112\/\">discusso<\/a><\/noindex> approcci alternativi allo sviluppo dei transistor. Oggi parliamo di concetti in grado di trasformare i principi operativi dei tradizionali sistemi di calcolo: <b>macchine quantistiche, chip neuromorfici e computer basati sul DNA.<\/b>.<br \/>\n<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/noindex><\/p>\n<h2>Computer DNA<\/h2>\n<p>\n\u00c8 un sistema che sfrutta le capacit\u00e0 computazionali delle molecole di DNA. I filamenti di DNA sono composti da quattro basi azotate: citosina, adenina, guanina e timina. Collegandole in una determinata sequenza, \u00e8 possibile codificare informazioni. Per modificare i dati, si utilizzano enzimi speciali che, attraverso reazioni chimiche, allungano le catene di DNA, nonch\u00e9 le tagliano e le accorciano. Tali reazioni possono avvenire in diverse parti della molecola simultaneamente, consentendo di eseguire calcoli in parallelo.<\/p>\n<p>Il primo computer basato su DNA \u00e8 stato presentato nel 1994. Il professor di biologia molecolare e informatica <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%90%D0%B4%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BC%D0%B0%D0%BD,_%D0%9B%D0%B5%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B4_%D0%9C%D0%B0%D0%BA%D1%81\">Leonard Adleman<\/a><\/noindex> (Leonard Adleman) ha utilizzato diverse provette con miliardi di molecole di DNA per tentare di risolvere <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%97%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%87%D0%B0_%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%BC%D0%B8%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%8F%D0%B6%D1%91%D1%80%D0%B0\">il problema del commesso viaggiatore<\/a><\/noindex> su un grafo con sette vertici. Adleman ha rappresentato i suoi vertici e spigoli con frammenti di DNA contenenti venti basi azotate e ha poi applicato il metodo <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B8%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B7%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D1%86%D0%B5%D0%BF%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B0%D0%BA%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F\">della reazione a catena della polimerasi<\/a><\/noindex> (PCR).<\/p>\n<p>Uno svantaggio del computer di Adleman era la sua \"specializzazione ristretta\". Era progettato per risolvere un singolo problema e non poteva eseguire altre operazioni. Saranno utilizzabili nei data center impegnati nell'elaborazione di enormi volumi di dati.<\/p>\n<h2>Processori neuromorfici<\/h2>\n<p>\nIl termine \"neuromorfico\" indica che l'architettura del chip si basa sui principi di funzionamento del cervello umano. Questi processori emulano il lavoro di milioni di neuroni con prolungamenti chiamati assoni e dendriti. I primi sono responsabili della trasmissione delle informazioni, mentre i secondi della loro percezione. I neuroni sono connessi tra loro tramite sinapsi, che sono contatti speciali attraverso i quali vengono trasmessi segnali elettrici (impulsi nervosi).<\/p>\n<p>L'idea di creare sistemi neuromorfici \u00e8 emersa per la prima volta <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/abstract\/document\/58356\/\">negli anni '90<\/a><\/noindex>. Tuttavia, le ricerche serie in questo campo sono iniziate dopo il 2000. Gli specialisti di IBM Research <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.research.ibm.com\/articles\/brain-chip.shtml\">lanciato<\/a><\/noindex> hanno avviato il progetto SyNAPSE, il cui obiettivo era sviluppare un computer con un'architettura diversa da quella di von Neumann. Nell'ambito di questo progetto, l'azienda ha progettato il chip <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/TrueNorth\">TrueNorth<\/a><\/noindex>. Esso emula il funzionamento di un milione di neuroni e 256 milioni di sinapsi.<\/p>\n<p>I processori neuromorfici sono sviluppati non solo in IBM. Anche Intel dal 2017 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikichip.org\/wiki\/intel\/loihi\">sta lavorando<\/a><\/noindex> sul chip Loihi. Esso \u00e8 composto da 130.000 neuroni artificiali e 130 milioni di sinapsi. Un anno fa, la compagnia <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.intel.com\/editorials\/intel-creates-neuromorphic-research-community\/\">ha completato<\/a><\/noindex> lo sviluppo di un prototipo con un processo tecnologico a 14nm.<\/p>\n<p>I dispositivi neuromorfici consentono di accelerare l'apprendimento delle reti neurali. Questi chip, a differenza dei processori classici, non necessitano di consultare regolarmente registri o memoria per i dati. Tutte le informazioni sono costantemente memorizzate nei neuroni artificiali. Questa caratteristica permetter\u00e0 di addestrare le reti neurali localmente (senza collegamento a un archivio con un insieme di dati di test).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Si prevede che i processori neuromorfici troveranno applicazione negli smartphone e nei dispositivi dell'Internet delle Cose. Tuttavia, al momento non si pu\u00f2 parlare di un'introduzione su vasta scala della tecnologia nei dispositivi destinati agli utenti.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Macchine quantistiche<\/h2>\n<p>\nLa base dei computer quantistici \u00e8 costituita dai qubit. Il loro funzionamento si basa sui principi della fisica quantistica: l\u2019entanglement e la sovrapposizione. La sovrapposizione consente a un qubit di trovarsi nello stato di zero e uno contemporaneamente. L\u2019entanglement \u00e8 un fenomeno in cui gli stati di pi\u00f9 qubit risultano interconnessi.
