Dal catalogo Google Play rimosso<\/a><\/noindex> l'applicazione MobonoGram 2019, posizionata come client alternativo non ufficiale del messenger Telegram e con oltre 100.000 installazioni. La ragione per la rimozione \u00e8 stata la scoperta della presenza di codice trojan all'interno del programma Android.Fakeyouwon<\/a><\/noindex>, che compie azioni dannose.<\/p>\n

Il programma offre le funzionalit\u00e0 di base per lo scambio di messaggi, ma esegue anche nascosto sul dispositivo diversi servizi in background avviati automaticamente, che inviano richieste al server di controllo per scaricare e visualizzare nel browser contenuti di siti dannosi e fraudolenti. Si sospetta che MobonoGram sia stato sviluppato utilizzando il codice del client ufficiale open source di Telegram, a cui \u00e8 stata aggiunta funzionalit\u00e0 dannosa e pubblicato con un altro nome. L'attivit\u00e0 dannosa si concentrava principalmente sull'invio di messaggi riguardanti vincite inesistenti e offerte fraudolente, al di fuori del contesto dell'app MobonoGram e anche quando non era formalmente attiva (i servizi dannosi venivano avviati automaticamente dopo l'accensione del dispositivo).
