Si \u00e8 svolto<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio di un browser web minimalista multipiattaforma NetSurf 3.9<\/a><\/noindex>, in grado di funzionare su sistemi con diverse decine di megabyte di RAM. Il rilascio \u00e8 stato preparato per Linux, Windows, Haiku, AmigaOS, RISC OS e vari sistemi Unix-like. Il codice del browser \u00e8 scritto in C ed \u00e8 distribuito sotto licenza GPLv2. Questa nuova versione si distingue per il supporto delle CSS Media Queries, il miglioramento dell'elaborazione JavaScript e la correzione di bug accumulati.<\/p>\n

Il browser supporta le schede, i segnalibri, la visualizzazione delle miniature delle pagine, il completamento automatico degli URL nella barra degli indirizzi, lo zoom delle pagine, HTTPS, SVG, un'interfaccia per gestire i cookie, una modalit\u00e0 di salvataggio delle pagine con immagini, e gli standard HTML 4.01, CSS 2.1 e parzialmente HTML5. Viene fornito un supporto limitato per JavaScript, che \u00e8 disattivato per impostazione predefinita.
