Pubblicato<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio imprevisto del server di posta Exim 4.92.1<\/a><\/noindex> nel quale \u00e8 stata risolta una vulnerabilit\u00e0 critica (CVE-2019-13917) che consente l'esecuzione remota di codice con privilegi di root in presenza di determinate impostazioni specifiche nella configurazione. <\/p>\n

Vulnerabilit\u00e0 si manifesta<\/a><\/noindex> A partire dalla versione 4.85, utilizzando nelle impostazioni dell'operatore «${sort}», nel caso in cui gli elementi utilizzati nella lista «sort» possano essere trasmessi da un attaccante (ad esempio, tramite le variabili $local_part e $domain). Per impostazione predefinita, questo operatore non \u00e8 applicato nella configurazione fornita nella distribuzione base di Exim e nel pacchetto per Debian e Ubuntu (probabilmente anche in altre distribuzioni). Per controllare la vulnerabilit\u00e0 del proprio sistema, \u00e8 possibile eseguire il comando «exim -bP config | grep sort». <\/p>\n

Gli aggiornamenti dei pacchetti che risolvono la vulnerabilit\u00e0 sono gi\u00e0 stati rilasciati per Debian<\/a><\/noindex> e Ubuntu<\/a><\/noindex>. Gli aggiornamenti non sono ancora stati preparati per SUSE<\/a><\/noindex>, Fedora<\/a><\/noindex>, FreeBSD<\/a><\/noindex> e Arch Linux<\/a><\/noindex>.
