Trovata<\/a><\/noindex> un gruppo di appassionati che ha ripreso lo sviluppo della distribuzione Antergos, il cui sviluppo era interrotto<\/a><\/noindex> stato interrotto a maggio a causa della mancanza di tempo libero dei restanti manutentori per mantenere il progetto a un livello adeguato. Lo sviluppo di Antergos sar\u00e0 portato avanti da un nuovo team di sviluppatori con il nome di Endeavour OS<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n

Per scaricare \u00e8 stata preparata<\/a><\/noindex> la prima build di Endeavour OS (1,4 GB<\/a><\/noindex>), che fornisce un semplice installer per l'installazione dell'ambiente di base di Arch Linux con il desktop Xfce predefinito e la possibilit\u00e0 di installare uno dei 9 desktop standard basati su i3-wm, Openbox, Mate, Cinnamon, GNOME, Deepin, Budgie e KDE. <\/p>\n

L'ambiente di ogni desktop corrisponde al set di funzionalit\u00e0 standard fornito dagli sviluppatori del desktop scelto, senza programmi preinstallati aggiuntivi, che vengono raccomandati all'utente di scegliere dal repository a proprio piacimento. In questo modo, Endeavour OS offre all'utente la possibilit\u00e0 di installare Arch Linux con il desktop desiderato in modo semplice, come originariamente concepito dai suoi sviluppatori.<\/p>\n

Ricordiamo che, in passato, il progetto Antergos ha continuato lo sviluppo della distribuzione Cinnarch dopo il suo passaggio da Cinnamon a GNOME a causa dell'uso della parte della parola Cinnamon nel nome della distribuzione. Antergos era basato sui pacchetti di Arch Linux e offriva un ambiente utente classico nello stile di GNOME 2, inizialmente creato utilizzando estensioni per GNOME 3, che poi \u00e8 stato sostituito con MATE (in seguito \u00e8 stata ripristinata anche la possibilit\u00e0 di installare Cinnamon). L'obiettivo del progetto era creare una versione di Arch Linux pi\u00f9 user-friendly e facile da usare, adatta all'installazione da un'ampia gamma di utenti.<\/p>\n
