Dopo sei mesi dal precedente rilascio presentato<\/a><\/noindex> il rilascio del client XMPP\/Jabber multipiattaforma da console profanity 0.7.0<\/a><\/noindex>. L'interfaccia di profanity \u00e8 costruita utilizzando la libreria ncurses e supporta le notifiche tramite la libreria libnotify. L'applicazione pu\u00f2 essere compilata sia con la libreria libstrophe, che gestisce il protocollo XMPP, sia con il suo fork libmesode<\/a><\/noindex>, supportata dal suo sviluppatore. Le funzionalit\u00e0 del client possono essere ampliate utilizzando di plugin<\/a><\/noindex> in Python.
