Azienda Cisco ha presentato<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio correttivo del pacchetto antivirus gratuito ClamAV 0.101.3, in cui \u00e8 stata risolta una vulnerabilit\u00e0 che consente di avviare un attacco DoS tramite l'invio di un file zip appositamente formattato come allegato. <\/p>\n

Problema<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 una variante bomba zip non ricorsiva<\/a><\/noindex>, la cui decompressione richiede molto tempo e risorse. La sostanza del metodo risiede nel collocare nell'archivio dati che consentono di ottenere un massimo grado di compressione per il formato zip \u2014 circa 28 milioni di volte. Ad esempio, un file zip appositamente preparato di 10 MB porter\u00e0 alla decompressione di circa 281 TB di dati, mentre 46 MB \u2014 4,5 PB. <\/p>\n

Inoltre, nel nuovo rilascio \u00e8 stata aggiornata la libreria incorporata libmspack, nella quale sono state corrette<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 stata corretta una vulnerabilit\u00e0 di buffer overflow (CVE-2019-1010305<\/a><\/noindex>), che porta a una perdita di dati all'apertura di un file chm appositamente formattato.<\/p>\n

Allo stesso tempo, \u00e8 stata presentata una versione beta del nuovo ramo ClamAV 0.102, in cui la funzionalit\u00e0 di scansione on-access (controllo al momento dell'apertura del file) \u00e8 stata spostata da clamd a un processo separato clamonacc, implementato analogamente a clamdscan e clamav-milter. Questa modifica ha permesso di far funzionare clamd sotto un utente normale senza la necessit\u00e0 di privilegi di root.
\nNel nuovo ramo \u00e8 stata anche aggiunta la supporto per archivi egg (ESTsoft) e il programma freshclam \u00e8 stato notevolmente revisionato, con l'introduzione del supporto per HTTPS e la possibilit\u00e0 di lavorare con mirror che gestiscono richieste su porte di rete diverse dalla 80. <\/p>\n
