Azienda Canonical ha rilasciato<\/a><\/noindex> aggiornamento della distribuzione Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, che ha ricevuto una serie di novit\u00e0 per migliorare le prestazioni. La build include aggiornamenti del kernel Linux, del stack grafico e di diverse centinaia di pacchetti. Sono stati inoltre corretti errori nell'installer e nel bootloader.<\/p>\n

\"Ubuntu<\/p>\n

Gli aggiornamenti sono disponibili per tutte le distribuzioni: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, Kubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, Ubuntu Budgie 18.04.3 LTS, Ubuntu MATE 18.04.3 LTS, Lubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, Ubuntu Kylin 18.04.3 LTS e Xubuntu 18.04.3 LTS.<\/p>\n

Inoltre, sono state esportate alcune migliorie dalla versione di Ubuntu 19.04. In particolare, ci sono una nuova versione del kernel - la famiglia 5.0, aggiornamenti di mutter 3.28.3 e Mesa 18.2.8, oltre a nuovi driver per schede grafiche Intel, AMD e NVIDIA. \u00c8 stata anche trasferita da 19.04 la sistema Livepatch, che consente di applicare patch al kernel del sistema operativo senza riavviarlo. Infine, nella versione server 18.04.3 LTS \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto per i gruppi di partizioni LVM criptate. \u00c8 stata implementata anche la funzione di utilizzo delle partizioni disco esistenti durante l'installazione.<\/p>\n

\u00c8 importante notare che il kernel Linux 5.0 sar\u00e0 supportato fino all'uscita di Ubuntu 18.04.4. Nella prossima build sar\u00e0 presente gi\u00e0 il kernel di Ubuntu 19.10. La versione 4.15, invece, sar\u00e0 supportata per tutto il ciclo di vita della versione LTS.<\/p>\n

Ricordiamo che nella versione autunnale 19.10 sono attesi molti miglioramenti. In primo luogo, l\u00ec implementeranno<\/a><\/noindex> il supporto per il file system ZFS, anche se come opzione. In secondo luogo, GNOME sar\u00e0<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 pi\u00f9 veloce, e si promette di risolvere i problemi con i driver Nouveau. \u00c8 ovvio che questo sar\u00e0 possibile grazie alla generosit\u00e0<\/a><\/noindex> di NVIDIA.<\/p>\n
