Google ha pubblicato<\/a><\/noindex> piano<\/a><\/noindex> cessazione del supporto del protocollo FTP in Chromium e Chrome. In Chrome 80, previsto all'inizio del 2020, attesa<\/a><\/noindex> disattivazione graduale del supporto FTP per gli utenti della versione stabile (per le implementazioni aziendali verr\u00e0 aggiunta l'opzione DisableFTP per ripristinare FTP). In Chrome 82 \u00e8 prevista la rimozione completa del codice e delle risorse utilizzate per il funzionamento del client FTP.<\/p>\n

L'implementazione graduale della limitazione del supporto FTP \u00e8 iniziata in Chrome 63, in cui
\n l'accesso alle risorse attraverso il protocollo FTP \u00e8 stato contrassegnato come connessione non sicura. In Chrome 72 \u00e8 stata disattivata la visualizzazione nel browser dei contenuti delle risorse caricate tramite il protocollo \"ftp:\/\/\" (ad esempio, \u00e8 stato interrotto il caricamento di documenti HTML e file README), e l'uso di FTP per il caricamento di sottorecorsi dai documenti \u00e8 stato vietato. In Chrome 74, a causa di un errore, l'accesso a FTP tramite proxy HTTP ha smesso di funzionare, e in Chrome 76 il supporto per i proxy per FTP \u00e8 stato rimosso.
