Progetto Qt ha presentato<\/a><\/noindex> la versione del framework per microcontrollori e dispositivi a bassa potenza \u2014 Qt for MCUs<\/a><\/noindex>. Tra i punti di forza del progetto c'\u00e8 la possibilit\u00e0 di creare applicazioni grafiche per microcontrollori, utilizzando un'API e strumenti di sviluppo familiari, gi\u00e0 impiegati per creare interfacce utente complete per sistemi desktop. L'interfaccia per microcontrollori \u00e8 realizzata non solo con l'API C++, ma anche utilizzando QML con i widget di Qt Quick Controls, adattati per piccoli schermi, comunemente utilizzati in elettronica di consumo, dispositivi indossabili, attrezzature industriali e sistemi per la casa intelligente. <\/p>\n

Per raggiungere elevate prestazioni, gli script QML vengono tradotti in codice C++, e il rendering \u00e8 effettuato attraverso un motore grafico separato, ottimizzato per la creazione di interfacce grafiche in condizioni di capacit\u00e0 limitata di RAM e risorse processore. Il motore \u00e8 stato sviluppato pensando ai microcontrollori ARM Cortex-M e supporta acceleratori di grafica 2D, come PxP su chip NXP i.MX RT, Chrom-Art su chip STM32 e RGL su chip Renesas RH850. Il port include tutte le parti principali del modulo QtBase ed \u00e8 gi\u00e0 pronto per la compilazione e l'esecuzione in OS\/2 di un gran numero di applicazioni Qt5 esistenti.
