Nel driver per i dispositivi wireless con chip Marvell identificato<\/a><\/noindex> sono state scoperte tre vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2019-14814<\/a><\/noindex>, CVE-2019-14815<\/a><\/noindex>, CVE-2019-14816<\/a><\/noindex>), che potrebbero portare alla scrittura di dati oltre il buffer allocato durante l'elaborazione di pacchetti appositamente formattati inviati tramite l'interfaccia Netlink<\/a><\/noindex>. <\/p>\n

Le vulnerabilit\u00e0 possono essere sfruttate da un utente locale per causare il crash del kernel sui sistemi che utilizzano schede wireless Marvell. Non si esclude inoltre la possibilit\u00e0 di sfruttare le vulnerabilit\u00e0 per aumentare i propri privilegi nel sistema. I problemi rimangono ancora non corretti nelle distribuzioni (Debian<\/a><\/noindex>, Ubuntu<\/a><\/noindex>, Fedora<\/a><\/noindex>, RHEL<\/a><\/noindex>, SUSE<\/a><\/noindex>). \u00c8 stato proposto di includerli nel kernel Linux per correggere l'errore.<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n
