Nel driver per dispositivi wireless basati su chip Marvell sono state individuate<\/a><\/noindex> sono state riscontrate tre vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2019-14814<\/a><\/noindex>, CVE-2019-14815<\/a><\/noindex>, CVE-2019-14816<\/a><\/noindex>), che possono portare alla scrittura di dati al di fuori del buffer assegnato durante l'elaborazione di pacchetti appositamente formattati inviati tramite l'interfaccia Netlink<\/a><\/noindex>. <\/p>\n

I problemi possono essere sfruttati da un utente locale per provocare un crash del kernel sui sistemi che utilizzano le schede wireless Marvell. Non si esclude la possibilit\u00e0 di sfruttare le vulnerabilit\u00e0 per ottenere privilegi elevati nel sistema. I problemi rimangono ancora non risolti nelle distribuzioni (Debian<\/a><\/noindex>, Ubuntu<\/a><\/noindex>, Fedora<\/a><\/noindex>, RHEL<\/a><\/noindex>, SUSE<\/a><\/noindex>). \u00c8 stato proposto di includerli nel kernel Linux patch<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n
