Nel futuro rilascio e nelle attuali versioni beta del kernel Linux 5.4 \u00e8 comparso<\/a><\/noindex> sar\u00e0 supportato un driver per il file system Microsoft exFAT. Tuttavia, questo driver \u00e8 basato su un codice obsoleto di Samsung (versione della branch 1.2.9). Ora \u00e8 stata pubblicata<\/a><\/noindex> Informiamo che lo sviluppatore sudcoreano Park Ju Hyung ha presentato una nuova versione del driver exFAT, basata sulle ultime innovazioni dell'azienda. Le modifiche al codice riguardano non solo l'aggiornamento delle funzionalit\u00e0, ma anche la rimozione di personalizzazioni specifiche di Samsung. Questo ha reso il driver compatibile con tutti i kernel Linux, e non solo con le versioni Android dei dispositivi Samsung.<\/p>\n

Il codice \u00e8 gi\u00e0 disponibile nel repository PPA per Ubuntu, mentre per altre distribuzioni pu\u00f2 essere compilato dai sorgenti. Sono supportati i kernel Linux dalla versione 3.4 fino a 5.3-rc su tutte le piattaforme attuali. L'elenco include x86 (i386), x86_64 (amd64), ARM32 (AArch32) e ARM64 (AArch64). Lo sviluppatore ha gi\u00e0 proposto di aggiungere il driver nel branch principale per sostituire la vecchia versione.<\/p>\n
