Il progetto \u00e8 strutturato come <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/libretro\/Lakka-LibreELEC\">una modifica<\/a><\/noindex> della distribuzione <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=46081\">LibreELEC<\/a><\/noindex>, originariamente progettato per creare home theater. Le versioni di Lakka <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/libretro\/Lakka-LibreELEC\/wiki\/Hardware-support\">vengono create<\/a><\/noindex> per le piattaforme i386, x86_64 (GPU Intel, NVIDIA o AMD), Raspberry Pi 1-4, Orange Pi, Cubieboard, Cubieboard2, Cubietruck, Banana Pi, Hummingboard, Cubox-i, Odroid C1\/C1+\/XU3\/XU4, ecc. Per l'installazione \u00e8 sufficiente scrivere la distribuzione su una scheda SD o un'unit\u00e0 USB, collegare il controller e avviare il sistema.<\/p>\n<p>Alla base di Lakka c'\u00e8 un emulatore di console <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.retroarch.com\/\">RetroArch<\/a><\/noindex>, che garantisce l'emulazione <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lakka.tv\/powerful\/\">di un'ampia gamma<\/a><\/noindex> di dispositivi e supporta funzionalit\u00e0 avanzate come giochi multiplayer, salvataggi di stato, miglioramento della qualit\u00e0 delle immagini dei vecchi giochi tramite shader, riavvolgimento del gioco, connessione a caldo dei controller e streaming video. Tra le console emulate ci sono: Atari 2600\/7800\/Jaguar\/Lynx, Game Boy, Mega Drive, NES, Nintendo 64\/DS, PCEngine, PSP, Sega 32X\/CD, SuperNES, ecc. Sono supportati i controller delle console di gioco esistenti, inclusi Playstation 3, Dualshock 3, 8bitdo, XBox 1 e XBox360. <\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione dell'emulatore <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.retroarch.com\/\">RetroArch<\/a><\/noindex> aggiornato alla versione 1.7.8, che introduce le modalit\u00e0 di sintesi vocale e sostituzione delle immagini, permettendo di rilevare il testo visualizzato sullo schermo, tradurlo nella lingua selezionata e leggerlo ad alta voce senza interrompere il gioco o sostituire il testo originale sullo schermo con la traduzione. Queste modalit\u00e0 possono essere utili, ad esempio, per completare giochi giapponesi che non hanno versioni in inglese. Nel nuovo rilascio di RetroArch \u00e8 anche proposta <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.libretro.com\/index.php\/retroarch-disc-project-alpha-testing-has-begun-details-inside\/\">la funzione<\/a><\/noindex> di salvataggio dei dump dei dischi di gioco.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, \u00e8 stato migliorato il menu XMB, aggiunta la funzione di aggiornamento dei set di immagini in miniatura, migliorato l'indicatore a schermo per le notifiche,<br \/>\naggiornati gli emulatori e i motori di gioco integrati in RetroArch. Sono stati aggiunti nuovi emulatori<br \/>\nFlycast (versione migliorata di Reicast Dreamcast), Mupen64Plus-Next (ha sostituito ParaLLEl-N64 e Mupen64Plus), Bsnes HD (una versione pi\u00f9 veloce di Bsnes) e Final Burn Neo (una versione rielaborata di Final Burn Alpha). \u00c8 stato implementato il supporto per nuovi dispositivi, tra cui Raspberry Pi 4, ROCKPro64 e la mini-console di gioco
