Sean Larkin (Sean Larkin<\/a><\/noindex>), manager dei programmi tecnici per la piattaforma web di Microsoft, ha dichiarato<\/a><\/noindex> su come sta procedendo il porting del browser Microsoft Edge per Linux. Al momento non vengono forniti ulteriori dettagli. Gli sviluppatori che utilizzano Linux per sviluppo, test o attivit\u00e0 quotidiane sono invitati a partecipare a un sondaggio<\/a><\/noindex> e a rispondere a alcune domande relative alle aree di utilizzo del browser, alle piattaforme utilizzate e alle preferenze di installazione.<\/p>\n

Ricordiamo che lo scorso anno Microsoft ha iniziato<\/a><\/noindex> ha sviluppato una nuova versione del browser Edge, migrata al motore Chromium. Durante il lavoro sul nuovo browser, Microsoft si \u00e8 unita<\/a><\/noindex> alla comunit\u00e0 che sviluppa Chromium e ha iniziato a restituire<\/a><\/noindex> al progetto i miglioramenti e le correzioni realizzati per Edge. Attualmente \u00e8 disponibile per il test vengono suggeriti<\/a><\/noindex> tipi build<\/a><\/noindex> Microsoft Edge basato su Chromium, ma per ora \u00e8 limitato alle piattaforme Windows e macOS.
