L'azienda ha fatto enormi sforzi per correggere la situazione, investendo ulteriori 1 miliardo di dollari nell'espansione della produzione con un processo tecnologico tutt'altro che all'avanguardia, ma se questo ha aiutato, non \u00e8 bastato. Come riporta Digitimes, i clienti asiatici di Intel si lamentano nuovamente dell'impossibilit\u00e0 di acquistare processori Intel a 14 nm in quantit\u00e0 sufficienti, il che alla fine li costringe a posticipare gli annunci di alcuni dei loro nuovi prodotti dalla fine di quest'anno all'inizio del prossimo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Intel non riesce nuovamente a soddisfare la domanda di prodotti a 14 nm\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/8c85c50b430925957664aca2b4346077.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Vale la pena ricordare che l'inizio della carenza l'anno scorso si \u00e8 presentato in modo simile: i primi a lamentarsi delle mancanze sono stati proprio i produttori di notebook di seconda fascia, e hanno iniziato a farlo molto prima che Intel riconoscesse la propria incapacit\u00e0 di soddisfare la domanda. Sembrerebbe che da allora la situazione dovesse cambiare, dato che Intel \u00e8 finalmente riuscita a mettere in funzione la tecnologia a 10 nm, attualmente utilizzata per la produzione della nuova generazione di processori mobili, Ice Lake. Ma, a quanto pare, le forniture di Ice Lake rimangono per ora poco significative, e la maggior parte dei partner di Intel continua a preferire i chip a 14 nm. Inoltre, parallelamente agli Ice Lake a 10 nm, il gigante dei microprocessori ha annunciato i processori a 14 nm Comet Lake, il che ha fatto s\u00ec che la domanda di prodotti Intel a 14 nm nel segmento mobile non sia affatto diminuita.<\/p>\n<p>Per essere giusti, va sottolineato che nel materiale originale di Digitimes si parla del ripristino della carenza proprio nel contesto dei processori mobili Intel. Infatti, alla recente fiera IFA 2019, molti produttori di notebook hanno presentato i loro nuovi modelli di computer portatili basati sui recenti chip a 14 nm di Intel, promettendo di avviare le forniture entro la fine dell'anno, e questo avrebbe potuto realmente portare a un notevole aumento della domanda di processori a 14 nm, a cui Intel non si \u00e8 preparata adeguatamente. Qual \u00e8 quindi la situazione reale, lo scopriremo presto, quando vedremo quanto attivamente appariranno i computer mobili basati su Comet Lake sugli scaffali dei negozi.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Intel non riesce nuovamente a soddisfare la domanda di prodotti a 14 nm\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1ba07898b70721fcadcf608f6584ca93.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Per quanto riguarda i processori a 14 nm per il segmento desktop e server, \u00e8 altamente probabile che non ci siano interruzioni nelle forniture, nemmeno durante la stagione natalizia ad alto volume di vendite. Intel ha da tempo chiarito che \u00e8 principalmente interessata a soddisfare gli ordini per i \"grandi core\" e i processori pi\u00f9 costosi delle famiglie Core e Xeon, quindi \u00e8 probabile che gli affetti siano le soluzioni della classe Atom, utilizzate nei Chromebook e nelle piattaforme budget, le cui carenze nell'ultimo anno sono diventate una prassi comune.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Gli annunci attesi dei processori a 14 nm per il segmento desktop, incluso il lancio del Core i9-9900KS da 5 GHz e il rinnovato portafoglio di chip HEDT Cascade Lake-X, difficilmente creeranno seri problemi produttivi per Intel. Questi processori sono indirizzati ai segmenti di prezzo pi\u00f9 elevati e \u00e8 poco probabile che la domanda sia cos\u00ec significativa da richiedere a Intel sforzi particolari per
