Gli sviluppatori di Google sono impegnati a migliorare la sicurezza e la privacy degli utenti del browser Chrome. Un ulteriore passo in questa direzione sar\u00e0 la modifica delle impostazioni di sicurezza. Nel blog ufficiale degli sviluppatori \u00e8 stata pubblicata una comunicazione in cui si afferma che a breve i siti web potranno caricare gli elementi delle pagine solo tramite il protocollo HTTPS, mentre il caricamento tramite HTTP sar\u00e0 bloccato automaticamente.<\/p>\n

Secondo Google, attualmente fino al 90% dei contenuti visualizzati dagli utenti di Chrome viene caricato tramite HTTPS. Tuttavia, in molti casi, le pagine visualizzate caricano elementi non sicuri tramite HTTP, inclusi immagini, audio, video o \u00abcontenuto misto\u00bb. L'azienda ritiene che tale contenuto possa rappresentare una minaccia per gli utenti, pertanto il browser Chrome bloccher\u00e0 il suo caricamento.<\/p>\n

A partire da Chrome 79, il browser inizier\u00e0 a bloccare tutto il contenuto misto, ma le nuove funzionalit\u00e0 verranno introdotte gradualmente. A dicembre di quest'anno, Chrome 79 presenter\u00e0 una nuova impostazione che permetter\u00e0 di sbloccare il \u00abcontenuto misto\u00bb su determinati siti. A gennaio 2020 arriver\u00e0 Chrome 80, che convertir\u00e0 automaticamente tutto l'audio e il video misto, caricandoli tramite HTTPS. Se il caricamento di questi elementi tramite HTTPS non sar\u00e0 possibile, verranno bloccati. A febbraio 2020 uscir\u00e0 Chrome 81, in grado di convertire automaticamente le immagini miste e di bloccarle nel caso non possano essere caricate correttamente.  <\/p>\n

Quando tutte le modifiche saranno in vigore, gli utenti non dovranno pi\u00f9 preoccuparsi di quale protocollo viene utilizzato per caricare determinati elementi sulle pagine web visualizzate. L'introduzione graduale delle modifiche dar\u00e0 tempo agli sviluppatori per rendere tutto il \u00abcontenuto misto\u00bb caricabile tramite HTTPS.<\/p>\n
