Disponibile<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio del server display Mir 1.5<\/a><\/noindex>, il cui sviluppo continua da parte di Canonical, nonostante l'abbandono dello sviluppo dell'interfaccia Unity e della versione di Ubuntu per smartphone. Mir rimane richiesto nei progetti di Canonical e ora \u00e8 posizionato come soluzione per dispositivi embedded e Internet delle Cose (IoT). Mir pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato come server composito per Wayland, permettendo l'esecuzione di qualsiasi applicazione basata su Wayland in ambienti lavorativi su Mir (ad esempio, quelle costruite con GTK3\/4, Qt5 o SDL2). In MirAL \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto della propriet\u00e0 application_id, \u00e8 stata implementata la possibilit\u00e0 di ritagliare finestre in base ai confini specificati e garantito il supporto per l'impostazione di variabili ambiente sui server basati su mir per l'esecuzione dei client. <\/p>\n

\u00c8 stata implementata la registrazione delle informazioni riguardanti le estensioni EGL e OpenGL supportate. Per Wayland \u00e8 stata utilizzata la terza versione del protocollo xdg per affrontare i problemi con Xwayland. I componenti specifici per piattaforme hardware sono stati spostati da libmirwayland-dev al pacchetto libmirwayland-bin.
\n\u00c8 stato modificato il meccanismo di gestione della memoria, consentendo di eliminare l'uso dell'interfaccia specifica mir nei pacchetti snap.<\/p>\n
