Con la separazione dei gestori legati al dominio, ogni processo contiene dati solo di un singolo sito, rendendo pi\u00f9 difficile eseguire attacchi mirati al furto di dati tra siti. Nelle versioni desktop di Chrome separazione<\/a><\/noindex> dei gestori legati al dominio, anzich\u00e9 alla scheda, \u00e8 stata implementata a partire da Chrome 67<\/a><\/noindex>. In Chrome 77<\/a><\/noindex> questa modalit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata attivata anche per la piattaforma Android.

\"Rafforzamento<\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n

Per ridurre i costi operativi, la modalit\u00e0 di isolamento dei siti su Android viene attivata solo se sulla pagina \u00e8 registrato un accesso tramite password. Chrome memorizza il fatto di aver utilizzato una password e attiva la protezione anche per tutte le ulteriori visite al sito. La protezione viene applicata immediatamente anche per l'elenco dei siti predefiniti pi\u00f9 utilizzati dagli utenti di dispositivi mobili. Il metodo di attivazione selettiva e le ottimizzazioni aggiunte hanno consentito di mantenere l'aumento dell'uso della memoria a causa del numero crescente di processi attivi in media al livello del 3-5%, rispetto al 10-13% osservato quando l'isolamento viene attivato per tutti i siti.<\/p>\n

Il miglioramento nella modalit\u00e0 di isolamento protegger\u00e0 i dati dei siti da due ulteriori tipi di minacce: perdite di dati a causa di attacchi tramite canali esterni, come Spectre, e perdite che seguono un compromesso totale del processo gestore in caso di sfruttamento riuscito di vulnerabilit\u00e0, che consentono di ottenere il controllo del processo, ma non sono sufficienti per aggirare l'isolamento sandbox. Su Chrome per Android, una protezione simile sar\u00e0 aggiunta in seguito. <\/p>\n

La sostanza del metodo \u00e8 che il processo di gestione ricorda a quale sito il processo di lavoro ha accesso e impedisce l'accesso ad altri siti, anche se un aggressore dovesse ottenere il controllo del processo e cercare di accedere alle risorse di un altro sito.
