La modifica di HJ migliora notevolmente il comportamento di tutti gli NPC in Red Dead Redemption 2. Ora reagiranno agli impatti in parti specifiche del corpo, iniziando a zoppicare se feriti a una gamba. Dopo aver subito gravi ferite, i personaggi non giocanti cadranno a terra e rimarranno stesi per un certo periodo. Grazie all'aumento della salute, gli NPC non moriranno dopo pochi colpi, a meno che non vengano colpiti direttamente alla testa. La modifica Ped Damage Overhaul aumenta anche la resistenza degli NPC al fuoco: non moriranno pi\u00f9 pochi secondi dopo essere stati avvolti dalle fiamme, e alcuni NPC avranno persino la possibilit\u00e0 di sopravvivere.<\/p>\n

L'autore del mod ha anche modificato il bilanciamento del danno per gli NPC, rendendo pi\u00f9 facile per loro uccidere il personaggio del giocatore.
