Circa due anni fa \u00e8 stato lanciato il browser mobile Firefox Rocket, che rappresentava una versione semplificata del browser standard, con una serie di funzioni esclusive e rilasciato in alcuni mercati asiatici. Successivamente, l'app \u00e8 stata rinominata in Firefox Lite, e ora gli sviluppatori hanno presentato una nuova versione del prodotto software.<\/p>\n

Il browser si chiama Firefox Lite 2.0 ed \u00e8 ancora una versione semplificata dell'applicazione standard. Potrebbe sorprendere qualcuno sapere che il browser si basa su Chromium e non sul motore proprietario di Mozilla, ma \u00e8 proprio cos\u00ec. Innanzitutto, \u00e8 importante notare che il browser ha strumenti integrati per bloccare contenuti pubblicitari e tracker. Inoltre, \u00e8 disponibile una modalit\u00e0 turbo che consente di aumentare la velocit\u00e0 di caricamento delle pagine. Gli sviluppatori hanno integrato nella nuova versione di Firefox Lite uno strumento speciale che consente di fare screenshot dell'intera pagina visualizzata.<\/p>\n

Il browser vanta un feed di notizie veloce che supporta una grande variet\u00e0 di fonti, oltre a una funzione di ricerca di vari prodotti su Amazon, eBay e altri marketplace. Sono disponibili un tema scuro e una modalit\u00e0 privata. \u00c8 interessante notare che questo browser ricorda molto Firefox Focus, ma presenta alcune caratteristiche uniche.<\/p>\n
