Presentato<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio degli strumenti GNU Mes 0.21<\/a><\/noindex>, che fornisce il processo di bootstrap per GCC. Questo strumento affronta la questione della costruzione iniziale verificata del compilatore nelle distribuzioni, interrompendo la catena di ricompilazione ciclica (per costruire il compilatore sono necessari file eseguibili di un compilatore gi\u00e0 costruito). <\/p>\n

In GNU Mes si propone<\/a><\/noindex> un interprete autonomo per il linguaggio Scheme, scritto in C, e un compilatore semplice per il linguaggio C (MesCC), scritto in Scheme. Entrambi i componenti sono reciprocamente compilabili. L'interprete Scheme consente di compilare il compilatore C MesCC, che a sua volta permette di assemblare una versione ridotta del compilatore TinyCC<\/a><\/noindex> (tcc), le cui capacit\u00e0 sono gi\u00e0 sufficienti per compilare GCC. <\/p>\n

Nella nuova release \u00e8 stata introdotta la possibilit\u00e0 di bootstrap parziale<\/a><\/noindex> (Reduced Binary Seed) della distribuzione Guix utilizzando la shell Gash<\/a><\/noindex> (Guile as Shell) al posto di bash e Gash Core Utils invece di coreutils, grep, sed, gzip, make, awk e tar, utilizzando solo componenti in linguaggio Scheme. Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stato inoltre preparato un pacchetto con Mes per Debian GNU\/Linux.<\/p>\n

Nelle prossime versioni \u00e8 prevista l'aggiunta del supporto per il bootstrap di NixOS, la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare dietlibc e uClibc per il bootstrap di GNU (bash, binutils, gcc, tar), supporto per architettura ARM, distribuzione Debian e nucleo GNU Hurd, la possibilit\u00e0 di compilare Mes.c usando M2-Planet<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n
