Questi processori sono interessanti principalmente per il fatto che hanno una quantit\u00e0 di cache di secondo livello piuttosto insolita \u2014 1,25 MB per ogni core.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"La fuga conferma l&#039;aumento della cache di secondo livello nei futuri processori Intel\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/3bbf2795dddd8591dde8620775d00808.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Questo \u00e8 cinque volte di pi\u00f9 rispetto ai 256 KB di cache L2 dei processori desktop Coffee Lake Refresh, e due volte e mezzo in pi\u00f9 rispetto ai pi\u00f9 recenti chip Ice Lake-U, che hanno 512 KB per core. Potrebbero essere gli Ice Lake a 10 nm o i Tiger Lake, oppure i Rocket Lake a 14 nm. Di queste ultime due architetture al momento si sa poco, ma una delle <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/3dnews.ru\/998185\" target=\"_blank\">recenti fughe di notizie<\/a><\/noindex> su Tiger Lake indicava proprio che possedeva 1,25 MB di cache di secondo livello per core.<\/p>\n<p>Allo stesso tempo, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/3dnews.ru\/998694\" target=\"_blank\">un'altra fuga di notizie<\/a><\/noindex> ha indicato che nella famiglia Tiger Lake saranno presentati solo processori mobili con un massimo di quattro core. D'altra parte, i chip Rocket Lake offriranno fino a otto core. Inoltre, i chip a sei core testati in SiSoftware hanno meno cache di terzo livello rispetto al precedentemente \"trapelato\" Tiger Lake.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><\/p>\n<p>E qui si pu\u00f2 gi\u00e0 ipotizzare che una minore quantit\u00e0 di cache L3 possa essere il risultato di una disposizione dei transistor meno densa, ovvero di un processo tecnologico pi\u00f9 \"grande\". Recentemente proprio <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"\/it\/998903\/\" target=\"_blank\">riportato<\/a><\/noindex>, Rocket Lake utilizzer\u00e0 una nuova architettura, ma su un vecchio processo tecnologico.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"La fuga conferma l&#039;aumento della cache di secondo livello nei futuri processori Intel\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/d38578c1a7b81529b5451dfcd078683a.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>C'\u00e8 anche un'altra possibilit\u00e0: tutto quanto descritto nei due paragrafi precedenti non si verificher\u00e0, e ci troveremo davanti a un sistema su due processori server Ice Lake-SP da 10 nm. Potrebbero benissimo avere gli stessi core degli Ice Lake-U mobili, ma ogni core potrebbe avere pi\u00f9 cache di secondo livello. Per Intel, una pratica simile non \u00e8 nuova.<\/p>\n<p>In generale, \u00e8 difficile trarre conclusioni specifiche basate su questo risultato. Ci sono molte possibilit\u00e0, come vedete, e poche prove.
