Si prevede di distribuire la nuova distribuzione con il nome HyperbolaBSD.<\/p>\n<p>HyperbolaBSD sar\u00e0 sviluppato come un fork completo di OpenBSD, che si espander\u00e0 con nuovo codice rilasciato sotto le licenze GPLv3 e LGPLv3. Il codice sviluppato sopra OpenBSD mirer\u00e0 a sostituire gradualmente i componenti di OpenBSD distribuiti sotto licenze incompatibili con la GPL. In particolare, le condizioni d'uso dei marchi Rust e Cargo vietano di mantenere il nome del progetto in caso di modifiche o applicazione di patch (il pacchetto pu\u00f2 essere distribuito con il nome Rust e Cargo solo se \u00e8 costruito dall'originale sorgente, altrimenti  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/issues.hyperbola.info\/index.php?do=details&#038;task_id=736\">\u00e8 richiesto<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 necessario ottenere un permesso scritto preliminare dal Rust Core team o cambiare nome).\n<li class=\"l\"> Lo sviluppo del kernel Linux senza tener conto della sicurezza (Grsecurity <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=46457\">non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 un progetto libero<\/a><\/noindex>, ma un'iniziativa <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=43274\">KSPP<\/a><\/noindex> (Kernel Self Protection Project) \u00e8 in stagnazione).\n<li class=\"l\"> Molti componenti dell'ambiente utente GNU e utilit\u00e0 di sistema stanno iniziando a imporre l'uso di funzionalit\u00e0 eccessive, senza fornire possibilit\u00e0 di disattivarle durante la compilazione. In precedenza, la distribuzione era basata su snapshot stabilizzati del pacchetto di Arch Linux, con il trasferimento di alcune patch da Debian per migliorare stabilit\u00e0 e sicurezza.
