Gli esperti di «Laboratorio Kaspersky» hanno identificato una serie di attacchi informatici mirati a compagnie telecomunicative e finanziarie dell'Europa orientale e dell'Asia centrale. Nell'ambito di questa campagna, i criminali hanno cercato di appropriarsi di fondi e dati finanziari delle vittime. Il rapporto indica che gli hacker hanno tentato di prelevare decine di milioni di dollari dai conti delle aziende attaccate.<\/p>\n

In ciascuno dei casi registrati, i hacker hanno utilizzato una tecnica sfruttando una vulnerabilit\u00e0 nelle VPN<\/a>-soluzioni aziendali adottate dalle aziende attaccate. I criminali hanno sfruttato la vulnerabilit\u00e0 CVE-2019-11510, gli strumenti per la sua sfruttamento sono disponibili in rete. Questa vulnerabilit\u00e0 consente di ottenere informazioni sugli account degli amministratori delle reti aziendali, permettendo cos\u00ec di accedere a informazioni preziose.<\/p>\n

Il rapporto afferma che i gruppi informatici non hanno sfruttato questa vulnerabilit\u00e0. Gli esperti di «Laboratorio Kaspersky» ritengono che dietro alla serie di attacchi contro aziende finanziarie e telecomunicative ci siano hacker di lingua russa. Questa conclusione \u00e8 stata raggiunta dopo un'analisi delle tecniche utilizzate dai criminali per effettuare gli attacchi.<\/p>\n

«Nonostante la vulnerabilit\u00e0 sia stata scoperta gi\u00e0 nella primavera del 2019, molte aziende non hanno ancora installato gli aggiornamenti necessari.
