OpenCV offre oltre 2500 algoritmi, sia classici che rappresentativi delle ultime innovazioni nel campo della visione artificiale e dei sistemi di apprendimento automatico. Il codice della libreria \u00e8 scritto in C++ e <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/opencv\/opencv\/\">\u00e8 distribuito<\/a><\/noindex> sotto licenza BSD. Sono stati preparati binding per vari linguaggi di programmazione, tra cui Python, MATLAB e Java.<\/p>\n<p>La libreria pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata per il riconoscimento di oggetti in fotografie e video (ad esempio, riconoscimento di volti e figure umane, testo, ecc.), tracciamento del movimento di oggetti e telecamere, classificazione delle azioni nei video, trasformazione delle immagini, estrazione di modelli 3D, costruzione di spazi 3D da immagini di telecamere stereo, creazione di immagini di alta qualit\u00e0 tramite fusione di immagini di qualit\u00e0 inferiore, ricerca di oggetti in un'immagine simili a un insieme di elementi fornito, applicazione di metodi di apprendimento automatico, posizionamento di marcatori, rilevamento di elementi comuni su diverse immagini, eliminazione automatica di difetti, come l'effetto occhi rossi.<\/p>\n<p>In <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/opencv\/opencv\/wiki\/ChangeLog#version420\">nuova<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/opencv\/opencv\/releases\/tag\/4.2.0\">versione<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel modulo DNN (Deep Neural Network) con implementazione di algoritmi di apprendimento automatico basati su reti neurali \u00e8 stato aggiunto un backend per l'utilizzo di CUDA ed \u00e8 stato realizzato il supporto sperimentale per l'API <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/docs.openvinotoolkit.org\/\">nGraph OpenVINO<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<li class=\"l\"> Utilizzando istruzioni SIMD, \u00e8 stata effettuata l'ottimizzazione delle prestazioni del codice per la visualizzazione stereo (StereoBM\/StereoSGBM), ridimensionamento, sovrapposizione di maschere, rotazione, calcolo dei componenti di colore mancanti e molte altre operazioni;\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta un'implementazione multithread della funzione <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.opencv.org\/3.4\/d4\/d86\/group__imgproc__filter.html#gaf9bba239dfca11654cb7f50f889fc2ff\">pyrDown<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la possibilit\u00e0 di estrarre flussi video da contenitori multimediali (demuxing) utilizzando il backend videoio basato su FFmpeg;\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto un algoritmo per la ricostruzione selettiva in frequenza di immagini danneggiate <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.opencv.org\/4.2.0\/dc\/d2f\/tutorial_xphoto_inpainting.html\">FSR<\/a><\/noindex> (Ricostruzione Selettiva in Frequenza);\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il metodo <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/opencv\/opencv_contrib\/pull\/2367\">RIC<\/a><\/noindex> per l'interpolazione di aree comuni non riempite;\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto un metodo di normalizzazione delle deviazioni <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/short-circuitt\/LOGOS\">LOGOS<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel modulo G-API (opencv_gapi), che funge da motore per un'elaborazione efficiente delle immagini utilizzando algoritmi basati su grafi, \u00e8 stata implementata la supporto per algoritmi hybrid pi\u00f9 complessi di visione artificiale e apprendimento automatico profondo. \u00c8 stato garantito il supporto per il backend Intel Inference Engine. \u00c8 stata aggiunta al modello di esecuzione la supporto per l'elaborazione dei flussi video;\n<li class=\"l\"> Eliminati <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.talosintelligence.com\/2020\/01\/opencv-buffer-overflow-jan-2020.html\">vulnerabilit\u00e0<\/a><\/noindex>  (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.talosintelligence.com\/vulnerability_reports\/TALOS-2019-0852\">CVE-2019-5063<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.talosintelligence.com\/vulnerability_reports\/TALOS-2019-0853\">CVE-2019-5064<\/a><\/noindex>), che possono potenzialmente portare all'esecuzione di codice da parte di un aggressore durante l'elaborazione di dati non verificati nei formati XML, YAML e JSON.
