Il progetto si sviluppa grazie alla community dopo che la societ\u00e0 Mandriva S.A. ha trasferito la gestione del progetto a un'organizzazione non profit denominata &#171;OpenMandriva Association&#187;. Per il download <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/openmandriva\/files\/release\/4.1\/Beta\/\">si propone<\/a><\/noindex> Build live di 2,7 GB (x86_64). <\/p>\n<p>Nella nuova versione, il compilatore Clang utilizzato per la creazione dei pacchetti \u00e8 stato aggiornato alla versione 9.0 della branch LLVM. In aggiunta al kernel Linux di base, compilato in GCC (pacchetto &#171;kernel-release&#187;), \u00e8 stata aggiunta una variante del kernel compilata con Clang (&#171;kernel-release-clang&#187;). Clang \u00e8 gi\u00e0 utilizzato in OpenMandriva come compilatore predefinito, ma finora era necessario compilare il kernel in GCC. Ora \u00e8 possibile compilare tutti i componenti esclusivamente con Clang. Sono state impiegate nuove versioni del kernel Linux 5.4, Glibc 2.30, Qt 5.14.0, KDE Frameworks 5.65, KDE Plasma 5.17.4, KDE Applications 19.12. \u00c8 stato ampliato il numero di ambienti desktop disponibili per l'installazione.
