L'azienda Mozilla ha iniziato<\/a><\/noindex> test di estensione Firefox Voice<\/a><\/noindex> con l'implementazione di un sistema sperimentale di navigazione vocale, che consente di utilizzare comandi vocali per eseguire azioni comuni nel browser. Attualmente viene supportata solo l'elaborazione dei comandi in inglese. Per attivarlo \u00e8 necessario fare clic sull'indicatore nella barra degli indirizzi e fornire un comando vocale (il microfono \u00e8 disattivato in background).<\/p>\n

A differenza dei sistemi di controllo vocale convenzionali, l'estensione proposta si concentra non sulla sostituzione del mouse e della tastiera durante le interazioni con l'interfaccia, ma si propone come uno strumento ausiliario per elaborare questioni in linguaggio naturale, fungendo da assistente vocale. Ad esempio, l'utente pu\u00f2 dare comandi come \u00abche tempo fa\u00bb, \u00abtrova la scheda con Gmail\u00bb, \u00abdisattiva l'audio\u00bb, \u00absalva come PDF\u00bb, \u00abingrandisci\u00bb, \u00abapri il sito mozilla\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Dopo l'installazione dell'estensione, viene richiesto all'utente di fornire il consenso alla raccolta e analisi dei modelli vocali, con la loro trasmissione ai server Mozilla per aumentare l'accuratezza del servizio (i dati vengono raccolti in modo anonimo e non vengono condivisi con terzi). L'invio della telemetria con i dati vocali \u00e8 opzionale e pu\u00f2 essere rifiutato. <\/p>\n

Secondo i dati<\/a><\/noindex> nel numero soeren-hentzschel.at, l'elaborazione dei comandi avviene utilizzando il servizio di riconoscimento vocale di Google (Google Cloud Speech Service), ma nel codice dell'estensione definiti<\/a><\/noindex> i server Mozilla (le impostazioni possono essere override durante la compilazione).
