L'implementazione di riferimento di BLAKE3 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/BLAKE3-team\/BLAKE3\">pubblicata<\/a><\/noindex> sotto doppia licenza \u2014 dominio pubblico (CC0) e Apache 2.0.<\/p>\n<p>La principale differenza della nuova funzione hash \u00e8 l'eccezionale velocit\u00e0 di calcolo degli hash, mantenendo un'affidabilit\u00e0 al livello di SHA-3. A differenza di BLAKE2 (BLAKE2b, BLAKE2s), in BLAKE3 viene proposto un algoritmo unico per tutte le piattaforme, non legato alla larghezza di banda e alla dimensione dell'hash. <\/p>\n<p>L'incremento delle prestazioni \u00e8 stato ottenuto riducendo il numero di round da 10 a 7 e hashando i blocchi in pezzi da 1 KB. Tuttavia, alcuni ricercatori esprimono dubbi, sostenendo che, anche se attualmente 7 turni sono sufficienti per resistere a tutti gli attacchi noti sugli hash, ulteriori 3 turni potrebbero rivelarsi utili nel caso emergano nuovi attacchi in futuro. <\/p>\n<p>Per quanto concerne la divisione in blocchi, BLAKE3 suddivide il flusso in pezzi da 1 KB e ogni pezzo viene hashato in modo indipendente.
