Alcuni sanno che i primi tre byte dell'indirizzo sono l'identificatore del produttore, mentre gli ultimi tre vengono assegnati a loro. \u00c8 anche risaputo che \u00e8 possibile impostare un <em>indirizzo<\/em> \u0430\u0434\u0440\u0435\u0441. \u041c\u043d\u043e\u0433\u0438\u0435 \u0441\u043b\u044b\u0448\u0430\u043b\u0438 \u0438 \u043f\u0440\u043e &#171;\u0440\u0430\u043d\u0434\u043e\u043c\u043d\u044b\u0435 \u0430\u0434\u0440\u0435\u0441\u0430&#187; \u0432 Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Vediamo di cosa si tratta. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>L'indirizzo MAC (media access control address) \u00e8 un identificatore unico assegnato all'adattatore di rete, utilizzato nelle reti standard IEEE 802, principalmente Ethernet, Wi-Fi e Bluetooth. \u00c8 ufficialmente chiamato \"identificatore di tipo EUI-48\". Dalla denominazione \u00e8 evidente che l'indirizzo ha una lunghezza di 48 bit, cio\u00e8 6 byte. Non esiste uno standard comune per la scrittura dell'indirizzo (a differenza dell'indirizzo IPv4, dove gli ottetti sono sempre separati da punti). Di solito \u00e8 scritto come sei numeri esadecimali separati da due punti: 00:AB:CD:EF:11:22, anche se alcuni produttori di hardware preferiscono la scrittura del tipo 00-AB-CD-EF-11-22 e persino 00ab.cdef.1122.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>Storicamente, gli indirizzi venivano scritti nella ROM del chipset della scheda di rete senza possibilit\u00e0 di modifica senza un programmatore flash, ma attualmente l'indirizzo pu\u00f2 essere cambiato programmaticamente, dal sistema operativo. \u00c8 possibile impostare manualmente l'indirizzo MAC sulla scheda di rete in Linux e MacOS (sempre), Windows (quasi sempre, se il driver lo consente), Android (solo rootato); con iOS (senza root) questo trucco non \u00e8 possibile.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Struttura dell'indirizzo<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>L'indirizzo \u00e8 composto da una parte dell'identificatore del produttore, OUI, e dall'identificatore assegnato dal produttore. Gli identificatori OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier) sono gestiti <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/products-services\/regauth\/oui\/index.html\">da<\/a><\/noindex> un'organizzazione IEEE. In realt\u00e0, la sua lunghezza pu\u00f2 essere di 3 byte (24 bit), ma anche di 28 o 36 bit, da cui si formano i blocchi (MAC Address Block, MA) degli indirizzi dei tipi Large (MA-L), Medium (MA-M) e Small (MA-S) rispettivamente. La dimensione del blocco assegnato in tal caso sar\u00e0 di 24, 20, 12 bit, o 16 milioni, 1 milione, 4 mila indirizzi. Attualmente, sono stati distribuiti circa 38.000 blocchi, che possono essere consultati tramite molti strumenti online, ad esempio <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/regauth.standards.ieee.org\/standards-ra-web\/pub\/view.html\">IEEE<\/a><\/noindex> o <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wireshark.org\/tools\/oui-lookup.html\">Wireshark<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>A chi appartengono gli indirizzi<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Elaborazione semplice di un database pubblico <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/code.wireshark.org\/review\/gitweb?p=wireshark.git;a=blob_plain;f=manuf;hb=HEAD\">di esportazione<\/a><\/noindex> IEEE fornisce molte informazioni. Al momento sono 232, come visibile sopra.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"kogda-zakonchatsya-mas-adresa\">Quando finiranno gli indirizzi MAC<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Siamo tutti piuttosto stanchi delle storie che si trascinano da circa 10 anni su come 'gli indirizzi IPv4 stanno per finire'. S\u00ec, ottenere nuovi blocchi IPv4 \u00e8 diventato difficile. \u00c8 noto, per\u00f2, che gli indirizzi IP <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/habr.com\/ru\/company\/globalsign\/blog\/355006\/\">sono distribuiti in modo estremamente irregolare<\/a><\/noindex>; esistono blocchi enormi e poco utilizzati, appartenenti a grandi aziende e enti governativi degli Stati Uniti, comunque senza particolari speranze di una loro ridistribuzione a favore di chi ne ha bisogno. La diffusione di NAT, CG-NAT e IPv6 ha reso meno acuta la questione della scarsit\u00e0 di indirizzi pubblici.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>L'indirizzo MAC \u00e8 di 48 bit, dei quali ne possono essere considerati 'utili' 46 (perch\u00e9? leggi oltre), il che fornisce 246 o 1014 indirizzi, che sono 214 volte pi\u00f9 dello spazio indirizzi IPv4.<br \/>\nAttualmente sono stati distribuiti circa mezzo trilione di indirizzi, ovvero solo lo 0,73% dell'intero volume. C'\u00e8 ancora molta strada da fare prima di esaurire gli indirizzi MAC.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"sluchaynost-bit\">Casualit\u00e0 dei bit<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Si potrebbe supporre che gli OUI siano distribuiti casualmente e che il fornitore poi assegni anch'esso casualmente gli indirizzi ai singoli dispositivi di rete. \u00c8 davvero cos\u00ec? Diamo un'occhiata alla distribuzione dei bit nelle basi di dati MAC degli apparecchi 802.11 in mio possesso, raccolte da sistemi di autenticazione attivi in reti wireless. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.netams.com\/wnam\/\">WNAM<\/a><\/noindex>. Gli indirizzi appartengono a dispositivi reali che si sono connessi al Wi-Fi per diversi anni in tre paesi. In aggiunta, c'\u00e8 una piccola base di dati di dispositivi 802.3 della rete LAN cablata.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Analizzeremo ogni indirizzo MAC (sei byte) di ciascun campione bit per bit e osserveremo la frequenza del bit \u00ab1\u00bb in ciascuna delle 48 posizioni. L\u00ec ci sono quasi sempre zeri.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Infatti, lo standard definisce questi bit come speciali (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MAC-%D0%B0%D0%B4%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%81\">Wikipedia<\/a><\/noindex>):<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Tutto ci\u00f2 che volevi sapere sugli indirizzi MAC\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/3e4daff47798416d94c9c1c6bba97d72.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>L'ottavo (dal principio) bit del primo byte dell'indirizzo MAC \u00e8 chiamato bit Unicast\/Multicast e determina che tipo di frame viene trasmesso con questo indirizzo, normale (0) o broadcast (1) (multicast o broadcast). Per l'interazione unicast normale dell'adattatore di rete, questo bit \u00e8 impostato a \u00ab0\u00bb in tutti i pacchetti inviati.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Il settimo bit del primo byte dell'indirizzo MAC \u00e8 chiamato bit U\/L (Universale\/Locale) e determina se l'indirizzo \u00e8 globalmente unico (0) o localmente unico (1). Di default, tutti gli indirizzi \"programmati dal produttore\" sono globalmente unici, pertanto la stragrande maggioranza degli indirizzi MAC assegnati ha il settimo bit impostato su \"0\". Nella tabella degli identificatori OUI assegnati, solo circa 130 voci hanno il bit U\/L impostato su \"1\", e apparentemente si tratta di blocchi di indirizzi MAC per scopi speciali.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Dal sesto al primo bit del primo byte, i bit del secondo e terzo byte negli identificatori OUI, e tanto pi\u00f9 i bit nei byte 4-6 dell'indirizzo, assegnati dal produttore, sono distribuiti in modo pi\u00f9 o meno uniforme. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Pertanto, nel reale indirizzo MAC dell'adattatore di rete, i bit sono di fatto equivalenti e non portano un significato tecnologico, ad eccezione dei due bit di servizio del byte pi\u00f9 significativo.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"rasprostranennost\">Prevalenza<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 interessante sapere quali produttori di dispositivi wireless sono i pi\u00f9 popolari? In teoria, s\u00ec, poich\u00e9 ciascun produttore di dispositivi (proprietario del blocco MAC) \u00e8 obbligato a garantire un indirizzo unico per ogni adattatore di rete che produce. Tuttavia, alcuni produttori di chip, in particolare:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>00:0A:F5 Airgo Networks, Inc. (ora Qualcomm)<\/li>\n<li>00:08:22 InPro Comm (ora MediaTek)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>generano gli ultimi tre byte dell'indirizzo MAC come un numero casuale, apparentemente dopo ogni riavvio del dispositivo. Nella mia selezione n. 1 sono stati trovati 82 mila di questi indirizzi.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 possibile impostare un indirizzo non unico, ovviamente, impostandolo deliberatamente \"come il vicino\", determinandolo con uno sniffer o scegliendolo a caso. \u00c8 anche possibile impostarlo accidentalmente non unico, ad esempio, eseguendo il ripristino di un backup di configurazione di un router come Mikrotik o OpenWrt. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Cosa succede se ci sono due dispositivi nella rete con lo stesso indirizzo MAC? Tutto dipende dalla logica dell'hardware di rete (router cablato, controller della rete wireless). Probabilmente, entrambi i dispositivi non funzioneranno o funzioneranno in modo irregolare. Probabilmente, la tua rete non ci far\u00e0 caso, ma formalmente tale indirizzo non sar\u00e0 conforme allo standard e sarebbe meglio evitarlo.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"kak-rabotaet-randomizaciya\">Come funziona la randomizzazione<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Sappiamo che, per prevenire il tracciamento dei movimenti delle persone tramite la scansione delle onde e la raccolta degli indirizzi MAC, i sistemi operativi degli smartphone utilizzano da alcuni anni la tecnologia di randomizzazione. Teoricamente, durante la scansione delle onde alla ricerca di reti note, lo smartphone invia un pacchetto (gruppo di pacchetti) di tipo 802.11 probe request con l'indirizzo MAC come sorgente:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Tutto ci\u00f2 che volevi sapere sugli indirizzi MAC\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/5332cf36cfebf3eab87a71259447d0a9.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>La randomizzazione attivata consente di specificare non un indirizzo 'fissato', ma un altro indirizzo sorgente del pacchetto, che cambia ad ogni ciclo di scansione, nel tempo o in altro modo.
