La questione \u00e8: nell'implementazione originale, DISCARD viene eseguito in modo sincronizzato con le altre operazioni, il che in alcuni casi porta a problemi di prestazioni, poich\u00e9 \u00e8 necessario attendere il completamento dei comandi corrispondenti da parte dei dispositivi di archiviazione, il che richiede tempo aggiuntivo. Ci\u00f2 pu\u00f2 rappresentare un problema se l'implementazione di DISCARD del dispositivo di archiviazione \u00e8 lenta. <\/p>\n

Con l'implementazione asincrona, non \u00e8 necessario attendere il completamento di DISCARD da parte del dispositivo di archiviazione durante il normale funzionamento del file system, il che risolve il problema spostando questa operazione in background.
