In Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge e altri browser basati su Chromium, per copiare una password \u00e8 necessario cliccare sull'icona dell'occhio e poi visualizzare o copiare i caratteri. Anche se \u00e8 una soluzione piuttosto ovvia, presenta comunque dei difetti. In particolare, la password pu\u00f2 essere semplicemente osservata, rendendo il tutto privo di senso.<\/p>\n

Ecco in Google collabora<\/a><\/noindex> stanno lavorando per aggiungere la possibilit\u00e0 di copiare la password senza aprirla. Al momento, si tratta di Windows 10; attualmente Google non prevede di includere questa funzione in macOS. Non ci sono nemmeno informazioni per Linux.<\/p>\n

L'idea \u00e8 di aggiungere nelle Impostazioni delle password un'opzione per copiare i caratteri negli Appunti. La funzionalit\u00e0 corrispondente arriver\u00e0 pi\u00f9 avanti; per ora si tratta solo di un commit. Dopo la copia della password, sar\u00e0 possibile incollarla dove serve, come gi\u00e0 implementato in Android. In futuro, ci si aspetta che questo venga implementato anche in altri browser basati su Chromium.<\/p>\n

Va notato che questa non \u00e8 l'unica novit\u00e0 in fatto di protezione dei dati nel browser di casa. Inizialmente, Google ha offerto la funzione Password Checkup come estensione per il browser, ma ora l'azienda la sta trasferendo direttamente in Chrome. La funzione di verifica delle password \u00e8 disponibile nelle build di Chrome Canary 82, e pu\u00f2 gi\u00e0 essere attivata.<\/p>\n

Ricordiamo che in Microsoft Edge basato su Chromium \u00e8 stata introdotta la possibilit\u00e0 di aprire siti in modalit\u00e0 compatibilit\u00e0 con l'obsoleto Edge. Inoltre, \u00e8 possibile aprirli in modalit\u00e0 compatibilit\u00e0 con IE11, il che pu\u00f2 essere rilevante per enti pubblici e banche.<\/p>\n
