Dopo l'analisi della vulnerabilit\u00e0 rilasciata dal progetto OpenBSD correzioni<\/a><\/noindex> nel hypervisor VMM, identificato<\/a><\/noindex> la scorsa settimana, il ricercatore che ha scoperto il problema
\nha concluso<\/a><\/noindex>, che la patch proposta agli utenti non risolve i problemi. Il ricercatore ha evidenziato che il problema non deriva dalla distribuzione contigua degli indirizzi fisici del sistema ospite (GPA, Guest Physical Address), cos\u00ec come dagli indirizzi fisici del sistema host (HPA). Durante l'incrocio della struttura della pagina della memoria, il sistema ospite pu\u00f2 comunque sovrascrivere il contenuto delle aree di memoria del kernel dell'ambiente host.<\/p>\n

La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata individuata da Maxime Villard (Maxime Villard<\/a><\/noindex>), autore dei meccanismi di randomizzazione dello spazio degli indirizzi del kernel applicati in NetBSD (KASLR<\/a><\/noindex>, Kernel Address Space Layout Randomization) e del hypervisor NVMM<\/a><\/noindex>. <\/p>\n
