Disponibile<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio del pacchetto Rakudo Star 2020.01<\/a><\/noindex>, comprensivo del compilatore Rakudo<\/a><\/noindex>, macchina virtuale MoarVM<\/a><\/noindex>, documentazione, moduli e strumenti necessari per lo sviluppo nel linguaggio Raku (il nuovo nome del linguaggio Perl 6 dopo la rinomina<\/a><\/noindex>). Il compilatore \u00e8 conforme alla specifica Raku v6.d, ad eccezione del supporto per macro avanzate, input\/output non bloccante e una serie di piccole caratteristiche che si prevede saranno implementate nelle versioni future. Come macchina virtuale per l'esecuzione del bytecode si propone MoarVM<\/a><\/noindex>, che passa tutti i test (un backend alternativo basato su JVM non ha ancora tutte le funzionalit\u00e0 necessarie). <\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stato aggiunto un nuovo file eseguibile raku, che ha sostituito perl6, e sono state introdotte nuove opzioni in cui il nome perl \u00e8 stato sostituito da raku. \u00c8 stata effettuata una grande ottimizzazione delle prestazioni delle operazioni relative alla manipolazione delle stringhe (ad esempio, Str.chomp \u00e8 diventato pi\u00f9 veloce da 10 a 100 volte, Str.substr da 1,5 a 3 volte, e Str.trim* da 1,5 a 90 volte). Implementati<\/a><\/noindex> molte nuove funzionalit\u00e0 del linguaggio, sviluppate nella specifica Raku v6.e.<\/p>\n

Invece di Readline, per la modifica interattiva delle stringhe \u00e8 stato proposto il modulo Linenoise<\/a><\/noindex>. Attualmente \u00e8 sospeso il supporto per le build binarie per Windows e macOS.<\/p>\n
