Per distruggere la rete di Necurs, gli esperti di Microsoft hanno analizzato la metodologia che il botnet utilizza per generare nuovi domini<\/a>. Di conseguenza, hanno previsto la generazione di oltre 6 milioni di nuovi domini nel corso di 25 mesi. Queste informazioni sono state comunicate ai registrar in diversi paesi del mondo, per bloccare quei siti web e impedirne l'inserimento nella rete botnet.
