L'obiettivo \u00e8 semplificare la comunicazione e lo scambio di contenuti tra gli sviluppatori della distribuzione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Debian<\/strong> \u2014 un sistema operativo composto da software libero con codice sorgente aperto. Attualmente <strong>Debian GNU\/Linux<\/strong> \u2014 una delle distribuzioni GNU\/Linux pi\u00f9 popolari e importanti, che ha avuto un impatto significativo sullo sviluppo di questo tipo di sistema operativo nella sua forma primaria. Esistono anche progetti basati su un altro kernel: <strong>Debian GNU\/Hurd<\/strong>. Debian pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato come sistema operativo sia per server che per workstation.<\/p>\n<p>Debian ha il pi\u00f9 ampio repository di pacchetti tra tutte le distribuzioni \u2014 programmi e librerie pronti all'uso \u2014 ed \u00e8 il primo per il numero di architetture supportate: da ARM, utilizzata in dispositivi embedded, ai pi\u00f9 popolari x86-64 e PowerPC, fino a IBM S\/390, utilizzata nei mainframe. Sono stati sviluppati diversi strumenti per lavorare con il repository, il pi\u00f9 popolare dei quali \u00e8 l'Advanced Packaging Tool (APT).<\/p>\n<p>Debian \u00e8 diventato la base di una serie di distribuzioni. Le pi\u00f9 famose sono Knoppix, Linux Mint, Maemo, SteamOS, TAILS, Ubuntu.<\/p>\n<p>Il nome \"Debian\" \u00e8 composto dai nomi del fondatore del progetto, Ian Murdock, e di sua moglie, Debra Lynn.<\/p>\n<p>Nell'ambito del programma sono stati avviati i seguenti servizi:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<noindex><\/p>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/pleroma.debian.social\/\">pleroma.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 piattaforma di microblogging decentralizzata basata su Pleroma<\/li>\n<p><\/noindex><\/p>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/pixelfed.debian.social\/\">pixelfed.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 piattaforma per la condivisione di fotografie<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/peertube.debian.social\/\">peertube.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 piattaforma decentralizzata per l'hosting di video<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/jitsi.debian.social\/\">jitsi.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 servizio per videoconferenze web<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.debian.social\/\">wordpress.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 piattaforma per i blog degli sviluppatori<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/writefreely.debian.social\/\">writefreely<\/a> \u2014 piattaforma decentralizzata per blog e appunti<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In futuro \u00e8 previsto l'introduzione di un sistema <strong>di messaggistica su Mattermost<\/strong>, basato su Matrix, e di un servizio <strong>per la condivisione di file audio.<\/strong> basato su <strong>Funkwhale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Va notato che molte delle soluzioni utilizzate sono federate e supportano l'integrazione reciproca. Ad esempio, tramite un account Pleroma \u00e8 possibile ricevere notifiche su nuovi video in Peertube o immagini in Pixelfed.<\/p>\n<p>Per creare un account nei servizi \u00e8 necessario presentare una richiesta su salsa.debian.org, naturalmente avendo un account l\u00ec.
