Pubblicato<\/a><\/noindex> aggiornamento del sistema di caching dei dati in memoria Memcached 1.6.2<\/a><\/noindex>, in cui \u00e8 stato risolto una vulnerabilit\u00e0<\/a><\/noindex>, che consente di provocare un'interruzione del flusso di lavoro inviando una richiesta formattata in modo specifico. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 si manifesta a partire dalla versione 1.6.0. Come soluzione temporanea, \u00e8 possibile disabilitare il protocollo binario per le richieste esterne eseguendo con l'opzione \u2018-B ascii\u2019.<\/p>\n

Il problema \u00e8 causato da un errore in codice<\/a><\/noindex> parsificazione dell'intestazione del protocollo binario, relativo a una definizione errata della dimensione dei dati copiati nel buffer durante la chiamata della funzione memcpy (la dimensione \u00e8 determinata in base al parametro specificato nell'intestazione della richiesta). Attraverso manipolazioni del valore del parametro nell'intestazione del protocollo binario, un attaccante in grado di collegarsi alla porta di rete di Memcached pu\u00f2 provocare un overflow del buffer, portando al crash del processo di lavoro.<\/p>\n
