Sviluppatore di soluzioni antivirus \"Doctor Web\" informa<\/a><\/noindex> di aver rilevato un pericoloso backdoor, diffuso da malintenzionati sotto forma di aggiornamento per il popolare browser Google Chrome. Si segnala che oltre 2000 persone sono gi\u00e0 state vittime dei criminali informatici e il numero continua a crescere.<\/p>\n

\"\u00abDoctor<\/p>\n

Secondo il laboratorio virale \"Doctor Web\", al fine di massimizzare la portata del pubblico, i criminali informatici hanno utilizzato risorse basate su CMS WordPress \u2014 da blog di notizie a portali aziendali, ai quali gli hacker sono riusciti ad accedere come amministratori. Nel codice delle pagine dei siti compromessi \u00e8 stato incorporato uno script JavaScript che reindirizza gli utenti a un sito di phishing, che si maschera da risorsa ufficiale dell'azienda Google (vedi screenshot sopra).<\/p>\n

Attraverso il backdoor, i criminali informatici possono consegnare ai dispositivi infettati un \"carico utile\" sotto forma di applicazioni dannose. Tra queste: il keylogger X-Key Keylogger, lo styler Predator The Thief e un trojan per il controllo remoto tramite protocollo RDP.<\/p>\n

Per evitare spiacevoli incidenti, gli esperti della societ\u00e0 \"Doctor Web\" raccomandano di prestare la massima attenzione quando si lavora su Internet e suggeriscono di non trascurare il filtro dei siti di phishing presente in molti browser moderni.<\/p>\n
