Sviluppatore di soluzioni antivirus \u00abDottor Web\u00bb informa<\/a><\/noindex> riguardo alla scoperta di un pericoloso backdoor diffuso da malintenzionati sotto forma di aggiornamento per il popolare browser Google Chrome. Si riporta che pi\u00f9 di 2.000 persone sono gi\u00e0 state vittime dei cybercriminali, e il numero continua a crescere.<\/p>\n

Secondo i dati del laboratorio virale \u00abDottor Web\u00bb, per massimizzare la copertura degli utenti, i criminali informatici hanno utilizzato risorse basate su CMS WordPress - da blog di notizie a portali aziendali, ai quali gli hacker sono riusciti ad ottenere accesso amministrativo. Nei codici delle pagine delle piattaforme compromesse \u00e8 stato integrato uno script JavaScript che reindirizza gli utenti a un sito di phishing, che si maschera da risorsa ufficiale dell'azienda Google (vedi screenshot sopra).<\/p>\n

Con l'ausilio di un backdoor, i criminali informatici possono fornire sui dispositivi infetti un carico 'utile' sotto forma di applicazioni dannose. Tra di esse: il keylogger X-Key Keylogger, il loader Predator The Thief e un trojan per il controllo remoto tramite protocollo RDP.<\/p>\n

Per evitare spiacevoli incidenti, gli esperti dell'azienda \u00abDottor Web\u00bb raccomandano di prestare la massima attenzione durante la navigazione in Internet e suggeriscono di non trascurare il filtro anti-phishing integrato in molti browser moderni.<\/p>\n
