Ho installato Docker Desktop, creato dei contenitori, tutto ok, solo che mi sono subito reso conto che VMWare Workstation ha smesso di avviare le macchine virtuali con l'errore:<\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"plaintext\">VMware Workstation e Device\/Credential Guard non sono compatibili. VMware Workstation pu\u00f2 essere eseguito dopo aver disabilitato Device\/Credential Guard.<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\n<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/noindex><\/p>\n<h3>Il lavoro si \u00e8 fermato, \u00e8 necessario riparare subito.<\/h3>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Docker e VMWare Workstation su una macchina Windows\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/157299268bdbdeb1c7fb329cd48f0239.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nAttraverso ricerche su Google ho scoperto che questo errore si verifica a causa dell'incompatibilit\u00e0 tra VMWare Workstation e Hyper-V sulla stessa macchina. \u00c8 un problema noto e esiste una soluzione ufficiale di VMWare per come <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/kb.vmware.com\/s\/article\/2146361\">riparare<\/a><\/noindex>, con un collegamento alla base di conoscenze di Microsoft <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/security\/identity-protection\/credential-guard\/credential-guard-manage\">Gestire Windows Defender Credential Guard<\/a><\/noindex>. La soluzione consiste nel disabilitare Defender Credential Guard (il punto 4 della sezione Disabilita Windows Defender Credential Guard mi ha aiutato):<\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"plaintext\">mountvol X: \/s\ncopy %WINDIR%System32SecConfig.efi X:EFIMicrosoftBootSecConfig.efi \/Y\nbcdedit \/create {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} \/d \"DebugTool\" \/application osloader\nbcdedit \/set {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} path \"EFIMicrosoftBootSecConfig.efi\"\nbcdedit \/set {bootmgr} bootsequence {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215}\nbcdedit \/set {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} loadoptions DISABLE-LSA-ISO\nbcdedit \/set {0cb3b571-2f2e-4343-a879-d86a476d7215} device partition=X:\nmountvol X: \/d<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\nDopo il riavvio, Windows chieder\u00e0 se confermare la disabilitazione di Defender Credential Guard. S\u00ec! In questo modo VMWare Workstation torner\u00e0 a funzionare normalmente, e ci troveremo nello stesso punto di prima dell'installazione di Docker.<\/p>\n<p>Non sono riuscito a trovare soluzioni su come far convivere Hyper-V e VMWare Workstation, spero che nelle nuove versioni possano lavorare insieme. <\/p>\n<h3>Un altro modo<\/h3>\n<p>\nDa tempo utilizzo VMWare Workstation per vari scopi, ho tentato di passare a Hyper-V e VirtualBox, ma la funzionalit\u00e0 non ha soddisfatto le mie esigenze, per cui sono rimasto cos\u00ec fino ad ora. Ho scoperto che c'\u00e8 una soluzione per integrare VMWare, Docker e VSCode in un unico ambiente di lavoro.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.docker.com\/machine\/overview\/\"><b>Docker Machine<\/b><\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 consente di eseguire Docker Engine su un host virtuale e connettersi ad esso sia da remoto che localmente. Esiste un driver di compatibilit\u00e0 per VMWare Workstation, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pecigonzalo\/docker-machine-vmwareworkstation\">collegamento a GitHub<\/a><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>Non approfondir\u00f2 troppo la guida all'installazione, solo l'elenco degli ingredienti:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.docker.com\/toolbox\/toolbox_install_windows\/\">Docker Toolbox<\/a><\/noindex> (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.docker.com\/machine\/install-machine\/\">Docker Machine<\/a><\/noindex> in dotazione)<\/li>\n<li><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/pecigonzalo\/docker-machine-vmwareworkstation\">Docker Machine VMware Workstation Driver<\/a><\/noindex><\/li>\n<li>Docker Desktop<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\nS\u00ec, Docker Desktop, purtroppo, \u00e8 necessario. Se l'avete disinstallato, reinstallatelo, ma questa volta togliete il segno di spunta per le modifiche al sistema operativo, altrimenti rischiate di rompere di nuovo VMWare Workstation.<\/p>\n<p><i>Voglio subito notare che tutto funziona perfettamente da un semplice utente, il programma di installazione richieder\u00e0 l'elevazione dei diritti quando necessario, ma tutti i comandi nella riga di comando e gli script vengono eseguiti dall'utente attuale.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Dunque, con il comando:<\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"powershell\">$ docker-machine create --driver=vmwareworkstation dev<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\nverr\u00e0 creata una virtual machine dev all'interno di Boot2Docker.<\/p>\n<p>Questa virtual machine pu\u00f2 essere collegata all'interfaccia grafica di VMWare Workstation, aprendo il file vmx corrispondente. Ma non \u00e8 necessario, dato che ora sar\u00e0 richiesto di avviare VSCode tramite uno script PowerShell (per qualche motivo, docker-machine e docker-machine-driver-vmwareworkstation si trovano nella cartella bin):<\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"powershell\">cd ~\/bin\n.\/docker-machine env dev | Invoke-Expression\ncode<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\nSi aprir\u00e0 VSCode per lavorare con il codice sulla macchina locale e Docker nella virtual machine. Il plugin <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/marketplace.visualstudio.com\/items?itemName=ms-azuretools.vscode-docker\">Docker for Visual Studio Code<\/a><\/noindex> consente di gestire facilmente i container nella virtual machine senza dover accedere alla console.<\/p>\n<p><b>Difficolt\u00e0:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Durante la creazione di docker-machine, il processo si bloccava: <\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"powershell\">Waiting for SSH to be available...<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Docker e VMWare Workstation su una macchina Windows\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/59b66a626adca5d37cb853a553b3c4d4.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nE dopo un po\u2019 \u00e8 terminato con un superamento del numero di tentativi di connessione alla virtual machine.<\/p>\n<p>Il problema riguarda la politica sui certificati. Quando si crea una virtual machine, apparir\u00e0 una directory ~\/.dockermachinemachinesdev in cui si trovano i file del certificato per la connessione via SSH: id_rsa, id_rsa.pub. OpenSSH pu\u00f2 rifiutarsi di usarli, poich\u00e9 considera che ci siano problemi con i diritti di accesso. Solo che docker-machine non ve ne dir\u00e0 nulla, semplicemente tenter\u00e0 di riconnettersi finch\u00e9 non si stanca.<\/p>\n<p><b>Soluzione:<\/b> Non appena inizia la creazione di una nuova virtual machine, accediamo alla directory ~\/.dockermachinemachinesdev e modifichiamo i permessi dei file indicati, uno per uno.<\/p>\n<p>Il proprietario del file deve essere l'utente attuale, l'accesso completo deve essere solo per l'utente attuale e SYSTEM, tutti gli altri utenti, inclusa il gruppo degli amministratori e gli stessi amministratori devono essere rimossi.<\/p>\n<p>Possono anche sorgere problemi con la conversione dei percorsi assoluti dal formato Windows a Posix, e con il binding dei volumi contenenti link simbolici.
