Il driver stabilisce una connessione con la GPU fisica tramite VM bus. In forma di libreria DxCore (libdxcore.so) \u00e8 fornita anche una versione semplificata dell'API dxgi. Le librerie libd3d12.so e libdxcore.so sono proprietarie e disponibili solo in pacchetti binari (montati in \/usr\/lib\/wsl\/lib), compatibili con Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Centos, SUSE e altre distribuzioni basate su Glibc. <\/p>\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/directx\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2020\/05\/word-image-8.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Microsoft implementer\u00e0 un server grafico e accelerazione GPU in WSL\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/a05304a6916c5d90015bbc892fcfc92f.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Il supporto OpenGL in Mesa \u00e8 assicurato tramite <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/directx\/in-the-works-opencl-and-opengl-mapping-layers-to-directx\/\">una sovrapposizione<\/a><\/noindex>, che traduce le chiamate nell'API DirectX 12.
