Per la prima volta negli ultimi 15 anni, nella sua configurazione \u00e8 stato utilizzato un processore non di Intel. Nella nuova configurazione \u00e8 installato il CPU <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amd.com\/en\/products\/cpu\/amd-ryzen-threadripper-3970x\">AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970x<\/a><\/noindex> con 32 core (64 thread) e una cache integrata totale di 146 MB (2 MB L1 + 16 MB L2 + 128 MB L3). A titolo di confronto, nei processori Intel per workstation sono disponibili fino a 18 core CPU.
