Si \u00e8 tenuto<\/a><\/noindex> lancio di un browser web minimalista multipiattaforma NetSurf 3.10<\/a><\/noindex>, in grado di funzionare su sistemi con decine di megabyte di RAM. Uscita preparata per Linux, Windows, Haiku, AmigaOS, RISC OS e vari sistemi Unix-like. Il codice del browser \u00e8 scritto in linguaggio C e distribuito sotto licenza GPLv2. <\/p>\n

Il browser supporta schede, segnalibri, visualizzazione delle miniature delle pagine, completamento automatico degli URL nella barra degli indirizzi, zoom delle pagine, HTTPS, SVG, interfaccia per la gestione dei Cookie, modalit\u00e0 di salvataggio delle pagine con immagini, standard HTML 4.01, CSS 2.1 e parzialmente HTML5. \u00c8 fornito un supporto limitato per JavaScript, che \u00e8 disabilitato per impostazione predefinita. Le pagine vengono visualizzate utilizzando un motore di rendering interno, il cui nucleo \u00e8 costituito dalle librerie Hubbub<\/a><\/noindex>, LibCSS<\/a><\/noindex> e LibDOM<\/a><\/noindex>. Per la gestione di JavaScript viene utilizzato il motore Duktape<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata notevolmente rielaborata l'interfaccia basata sulla libreria GTK. \u00c8 stato svolto un lavoro per aumentare le prestazioni. Sono stati apportati miglioramenti relativi alla gestione dell'autenticazione, dei certificati e dell'unificazione dei messaggi di errore.<\/p>\n
