Nel codice sorgente su cui si baser\u00e0 il rilascio di Firefox 78, aggiunta<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 stata aggiunta la possibilit\u00e0 di esportare le credenziali memorizzate nel gestore delle password in formato CSV (campi di testo delimitati, che possono essere importati in un foglio di calcolo). In seguito, \u00e8 prevista anche l'implementazione della funzione di importazione delle password da un file CSV precedentemente salvato (si presume che l'utente possa necessitare di backup e ripristino delle password memorizzate o di trasferire password da un altro browser). <\/p>\n

Durante l'esportazione, le password vengono inserite in un file in chiaro. Ricordiamo che, impostando una password principale, le password nel gestore delle password integrato di Firefox vengono memorizzate in forma crittografata. \u00c8 interessante notare che la proposta di aggiungere a Firefox la funzione di esportazione delle password \u00e8 stata formulata 16 anni fa, ma \u00e8 rimasta non accettata per tutto questo tempo. In Google Chrome, l'esportazione delle password in CSV supportata<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 disponibile dalla versione Chrome 67, rilasciata nel 2018.<\/p>\n
