Questo \u00e8 dovuto al fatto che il riscaldamento riduce l'efficienza dei pannelli, mentre la forma sferica disperde meglio il calore nell'ambiente, subendo meno gli effetti del riscaldamento e mantenendo per pi\u00f9 tempo un alto valore di efficienza.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Se gli elementi solari rotondi e piatti raccoglievano esclusivamente luce diffusa, la potenza in uscita dall'elemento rotondo era superiore del 60% rispetto a quella ottenuta dall'elemento piatto. Inoltre, uno sfondo riflettente correttamente selezionato, con cui gli scienziati hanno sperimentato vari materiali riflettenti naturali e artificiali, permetteva all'elemento solare sferico di superare quello piano nella quantit\u00e0 di energia prodotta del 100%.<\/p>\n<p>Secondo i ricercatori, i pannelli solari sferici possono stimolare lo sviluppo dell'Internet delle cose e di altre elettroniche autonome. Complessivamente, promettono di risultare pi\u00f9 economici rispetto all'uso dei pannelli solari piatti. I pannelli solari rotondi non richiedono sistemi di tracciamento del sole.
