L'interruzione del supporto per Mercurial a favore di Git \u00e8 avvenuta <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51323\">annunciato<\/a><\/noindex> ad agosto dello scorso anno, dopodich\u00e9 il 1\u00b0 febbraio 2020 \u00e8 stato vietato creare nuovi repository Mercurial. Il 1\u00b0 luglio 2020 \u00e8 prevista la fase finale di abbandono di Mercurial, che comporter\u00e0 la disattivazione in Bitbucket di tutte le funzionalit\u00e0 legate a Mercurial, compresa l'interruzione del funzionamento delle API specifiche di Mercurial e la rimozione di tutti i repository Mercurial. <\/p>\n<p>Si raccomanda agli utenti di migrare a Git, utilizzando <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/community.atlassian.com\/t5\/Bitbucket-articles\/What-to-do-with-your-Mercurial-repos-when-Bitbucket-sunsets\/ba-p\/1155380\">utility<\/a><\/noindex> per la conversione dei repository, o di passare a <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurial-scm.org\/wiki\/MercurialHosting\">altri<\/a><\/noindex> hosting open source. Negli ultimi tempi Bitbucket ha concentrato il suo lavoro sullo sviluppo di un servizio per la gestione dell'intero ciclo di vita del software, e il supporto per due sistemi di controllo versione rallenta e complica l'attuazione dei piani prefissati.
