Azienda Kitware<\/a><\/noindex>, specializzata nella visualizzazione dei dati medici e nella visione artificiale, ed \u00e8 anche conosciuta per lo sviluppo del sistema di build CMake, ha presentato<\/a><\/noindex> una visualizzatore 3D compatto e veloce F3D 1.0, sviluppato secondo il principio KISS<\/a><\/noindex> (semplificare, senza complicazioni). Il programma \u00e8 scritto in C++, utilizza la libreria di visualizzazione VTK<\/a><\/noindex>, sviluppata anche da KitWare, e distribuito<\/a><\/noindex> sotto licenza BSD. \u00c8 possibile compilare per le piattaforme Windows, Linux e macOS.<\/p>\n

La gestione della visualizzazione e la navigazione tra le risorse suggerite nel file avviene tramite opzioni da riga di comando o tasti di scelta rapida. Supporta la visualizzazione di modelli 3D nei formati VTK, STL (Standard Triangle Language), PLY (Polygon File format), GML (CityGML), DCM (DICOM), EX2 (Exodus 2), PTS (Point Cloud), OBJ (Wavefront), GLTF\/GLB (GL), 3DS (Autodesk 3DS Max) e VRL (VRML). Per i formati gltf\/glb, 3ds, wrl e obj che includono informazioni sulla scena (fonti di luce, telecamere, texture, personaggi) viene visualizzata la scena specificata nel file, mentre per i formati che contengono solo informazioni geometriche \u2014 viene generata una scena predefinita. Per il rendering pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato
\n OpenGL o i motori di ray tracing disponibili in VTK.<\/p>\n
