Azienda Mozilla ha presentato<\/a><\/noindex> una nuova edizione del browser per sistemi di realt\u00e0 virtuale \u2014 Firefox Reality PC Preview<\/a><\/noindex>. Il browser supporta tutte le funzionalit\u00e0 di Firefox per garantire la privacy, ma offre un'interfaccia utente tridimensionale diversa che consente di navigare nei siti all'interno del mondo virtuale o all'interno di sistemi di realt\u00e0 aumentata. Le versioni disponibili<\/a><\/noindex> sono disponibili per l'installazione tramite il catalogo HTC Viveport (solo per Windows 10 al momento). \u00c8 possibile utilizzare tutti i visori 3D supportati dalla piattaforma Viveport, inclusi Vive Cosmos, Vive Pro, Valve Index, Oculus Rift e Oculus Rift S.<\/p>\n

A differenza dell'edizione principale Firefox Reality<\/a><\/noindex>, che supporta i dispositivi Android, l'edizione Firefox Reality PC \u00e8 orientata verso le piattaforme di realt\u00e0 virtuale collegate ai computer personali. Oltre all'interfaccia progettata per essere controllata tramite visore 3D, che consente di visualizzare pagine bidimensionali tradizionali, il browser offre agli sviluppatori web le API WebXR e WebVR con estensioni VR per WebGL e CSS, che consentono di creare applicazioni web tridimensionali specializzate per interazioni nello spazio virtuale e di realizzare nuovi metodi di navigazione 3D, meccanismi di input e interfacce per la ricerca di informazioni. \u00c8 anche supportata la visualizzazione di video spaziali in un visore 3D, girati in modalit\u00e0 360 gradi. Il controllo avviene tramite controller VR e l\u2019input di dati nei moduli web pu\u00f2 avvenire tramite tastiera virtuale o reale.<\/p>\n
